Optimization of your information technology assets requires an assessment of your current state and development of an achievable roadmap for improvement. Infrastructure Optimization (“IO”) is the process to quickly get you there. It is a four stage model based on industry analyst efforts, developed by the MIT Center for Information Systems Research and Microsoft to describe the levels of infrastructure efficiency. The four stages in this continuum are Basic, Standardized, Rationalized, and Dynamic.
